The Truth About The Aesthetic Industry: Cutting Through the Noise

Piece of Aesthetic Pie

In today's world, patients seeking cosmetic enhancements face a daunting challenge: finding truthful, reliable information. The aesthetics industry has become a gold mine, with everyone eager to claim a piece of the pie. As a facial plastic surgeon, I'm often disheartened by what I see on social media—so much misinformation is being spread. Some of it stems from ignorance, but much of it, I believe, is deliberately deceptive, driven by personal gain.

It's particularly disconcerting to witness how many of my colleagues—plastic surgeons, dermatologists, and other medical professionals—have "sold out," becoming mere mouthpieces for device companies and products that promise the world but deliver little more than disappointment. These products often come with a hefty price tag, yet fail to meet the lofty expectations they set. This trend embarrasses me, and it's why I feel compelled to speak out.

I want this blog to be different. I want it to be a source of objective truth, grounded in my personal experience and supported by the most reliable data available. My patients, both current and future, deserve nothing less. I promise you these three things:

  1. I Have Never and Will Never Take Money From Device or Aesthetic Companies

My integrity is not for sale. I believe that true patient care comes from unbiased judgment, free from the influence of corporate dollars. You will never see me endorsing a product because I was paid to do so.

  2. No Conflicts of Interest

Transparency is key to trust. I never want to be in a position where my recommendations might be questioned due to a potential conflict of interest. My advice and treatment plans are driven solely by what I believe is best for you, based on my experience and expertise.

  3. My Focus Is on Helping You Look Your Absolute Best

My passion is helping my patients achieve their aesthetic goals in a way that is safe, effective, and natural. Every decision I make, every treatment I offer, is driven by this goal.

In a world filled with noise, I want this blog to be a place where you can find clarity. I'm here to help you navigate the complexities of the aesthetics industry, offering guidance you can trust. Thank you for trusting me with your care.
